Adam and Eve?

It all began when the big voice said “Don’t.” “Don’t what” said Adam? The big voice said “Don’t eat the forbidden fruit.” Adam said, “We have forbidden fruit? Hey Eve, did you know we had forbidden fruit?” “No way” said Eve. “Yes way” said Adam. The voice said it louder, “Don’t eat the forbidden fruit!” “Why not” they asked? “Because I’m your dad and I say, that’s why!” (Now at this point I think the big voice was wondering if this creation idea was a good idea, thinking maybe He should have started with the elephant.)
Meanwhile back in the garden, Adam and Eve was having a forbidden fruit break. The big voice got was ticked! “Didn’t I tell you NOT to eat that fruit?” “Uh huh” Adam replied. “Then why did you” the disappointed big voice said? “Welllll Eve made me do it” was Adams’ answer. “Did not” she squealed. “Did too” he retorted. This went on for a time till the big voice said “Okay you two, your punishment is to have kids of your own!” And that is how children entered the scene.
That is kind of cute and sounds like it could be real. I just want to remind you that there is a lot more to the Genesis story of creation than people think. In fact the entire social order of mankind is wrapped up in Genesis one, two and three. God is telling us more than simple how we got here. He is setting up sanctity for marriage and parenting. A new look at these three chapters will restore a persons’ faith in God and a new appreciation for His word of truth.
