A PLACE FOR A PRINCE OR A KING?

Charlie and his mother never dreamed a simple winter drive through the British countryside would cause such a stir. The snow fall should have made them take precaution, but oh well. On one particular corner the car slid into a ditch. No amount of rocking and pushing would free the car. They had passed a farm house about a mile back, so off they went, trudging through the snow.
A friendly greeting welcomed them into a warm house with tea, cookies and a phone .
This could have been an ordinary event, except for one little detail. A detail that the welcoming lady would tell thousands of times throughout the rest of her life. What is the one detail? Charlie was none other that Prince Charles at the age of ten. That means the mother was the Queen of England herself. No wonder this ‘little detail’ would be her life time story!
It must be a grand thing for the Queen of England to grace your home. However something far grander happened to our world. There was a day when royalty walked down our streets. There was a time when the Prince of Heaven knocked on our door. If you said “Yes Jesus you may enter,” the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords came for more that tea. He came to reside forever, and to impact you for eternity and to give you something to talk about thousands of times. Yes you (whoever may be reading this blog) are a desired ‘place’ for Jesus to dwell.
